Every member of our team is hand selected for their compassion and ability to go above and beyond for our clients. They have the skills to provide a timely diagnosis and first-class veterinary treatment.

Veterinary Surgeon

Marissa- MRCVS

Marissa started working at the Vet Station in January 2024 after moving over to the UK with her family from South Africa. She qualified as a vet in 2000 and her passion lies with small animal surgery and dentistry. Marissa has a miniature Schnauzer called Heidi, as well as 3 adorable cats, the twins Mufasa and Simba and the baby boy in the house, bottle-reared foster fail, little Vaatjie.

Carolina- MRCVS

Carolina graduated from Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária, University of Lisbon in June 2022 and has a particular interest in surgery, cardiology, and ultrasound. Passionate about animal welfare, she is also a board member of Veterinarians Without Borders Portugal (VSF-Portugal), where she helps manage volunteer projects.

Outside of work, Carolina enjoys hiking and spending time in nature, always seeking new trails and outdoor adventures.
