Marissa

Marissa started working at the Vet Station in January 2024 after moving over to the UK with her family from South Africa. She qualified as a vet in 2000 and her passion lies with small animal surgery and dentistry. Marissa has a miniature Schnauzer called Heidi, as well as 3 adorable cats, the twins Mufasa and Simba and the baby boy in the house, bottle-reared foster fail, little Vaatjie.

Tamiyah

Mia’s passion for animal care started in 2019 when she embarked on her journey in the veterinary world. Working in referral hospitals like The RALPH and the RVC. Now, on the brink of a new chapter, she is looking forward to training as a veterinary nurse. She has two cats and a beautiful American XL bully who’s very popular on social media.

Sophie

Sophie has worked at The Vet Station since 2021. With a combined 13 years of experience working in animal welfare and conservation, her primary background is in zookeeping, caring for a variety of exotic animals from elephants to penguins. She manages a small, dedicated team and has a real soft spot for cats!
